AlignCam is a digital upgrade for Brunson's current line of alignment telescopes, levels and transits used extensively in the field. AlignCam provides a live image and continuous feedback on sight lines, so a field technician can make real time adjustments to achieve precision alignments.
This solution is ideal for repetitive measurement tasks and a variety of applications such as turbomachinery centerlines, drive system alignment, timber processing mills, precision leveling of machine bases, and other machine alignment challenges.
The AlignCam solution includes a digital camera with a high quality CCD sensor, an instrument adapter, and Brunson's TeleView® software. AlignCam's mobile option allows a single operator to view the target on a mobile device anywhere in the workspace.
AlignCam dramatically improves user ergonomics for completing alignment tasks in the field or the lab.
This system upgrade is designed for quick, on-site user installation. A field technician simply connects the camera assembly to the optical instrument, then plugs the USB cable into the camera and computer. Power is supplied to the camera via a USB cable.
AlignCam Mobile Option
Using the AlignCam mobile option, field technicians can make real-time adjustments while watching the target image from anywhere on the jobsite using a wireless mobile device. Live images can also be shared with team members in other locations, both locally and around the world.
