Our 332 pedestal stands are ideal to stage metrology instruments and 3D devices at higher elevations. The small footprint saves precious space on laboratory or manufacturing floors while providing rock-solid stability. The variable height instrument column provides a working range of 67 in - 112 in (1.6 m - 2.74 m), not including any adapters which may be mounted on top of the intermediate tube. The stand height measures from the floor to the top of the intermediate tube. Custom heights are easily manufactured.

A variety of accessories and instrument adapters fit into the intermediate tube while extension tubes provide even higher observation points. The stand has an air cushion damper to prevent the column from “free falling” and damaging the instrument in the event that the collar lock, ratchet pawl, and lift handle are released at the same time.

The baseplate is a 1.0 in (2.5 cm) thick steel plate with a diameter of 15 in (38.1 cm). Four 1.06 in (2.7 cm) mounting holes are equally spaced on an 11 in (28 cm) diameter bolt circle for easy baseplate mounting. It is also outfitted with four 5/8"-11 UNC-2B threaded leveling screws on a 14 in (35.6 cm) diameter bolt circle for easy adjustment to set the stand vertical.

The 332 pedestal stand is often used for space-saving permanent installations where stable, elevated fields-of-view are required.
