Small but mighty
Functionally similar to the larger model 2062, the 381's compact size results in affordability without compromising accuracy. This instrument comes in two additional variations; the 381-S is identical other than having a special reticle, and the 381-1 has a right angle eyepiece which swivels to any axial orientation.
The 6.978" long barrel meets A.I.A. specifications, and is hardened and ground to assure good stability and accuracy. The barrel's outside diameter is 1¾".
The instrument contains an autoreflection target which is concentric to the line of sight within ±0.001". This target has paired-line spacings of 0.012", 0.036" and 0.110" for use at all distances up to 100 feet. (The target pattern also has a centered 0.092" radius circle target.) The target is illuminated from the rear by an autocollimation light source.
The model 381, 381-S, or 381-1 may be set up using mounting base model 88-6 or "V" blocks. Custom mounting hardware is available by request. Includes our 509 light source, offering cool LED lighting to decrease heat distortion.
